Personal settings
The “Personal settings” tab is where you set your name and the language and date format iXTime uses. It is also where you leave a workspace if you need to.
Step by step

Profile & display name
Enter your last name and (optionally) first name. Your display name is built from them (last name first) and appears across the app and on your time entries. “Save changes” stores the profile; the sidebar updates immediately.

Choose a language
Pick German or English. The choice applies immediately and is remembered after a page reload.

Date format
Four presets are available (e.g. 21.06.2026, ISO, US, long). Each option shows an example date; the choice applies immediately and is saved.

Leave the workspace
Below the profile you can leave the workspace. An inline confirmation reminds you that your time entries are kept. Any member may leave — only the last remaining Owner is prevented from doing so.
Do I need a permission to leave?
No. Any member can leave a workspace — unless you are the only remaining Owner. Your existing time entries stay in the workspace.
Do language and date format affect others?
No. Both settings are personal and apply only to you, not to other members.
