Reports & analytics

Reports condense your tracked time into answers — grouped, filtered and over any period. Four views each answer one question: where the time went, every single entry, utilization, and the weekly timesheet.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Six views

At the top you switch between six tabs: Overview, Detailed, Utilization, Timesheet, Working time and Changelog. Overview, Detailed and Utilization share the period and filters; Timesheet, Working time and Changelog partly bring their own controls.

  2. 02

    Choose a period

The segments Week, Month, Year or Custom (and “Fiscal year” when enabled) set the period. The ‹ › arrows step through it; clicking the label opens a jump calendar. The period applies to all tabs except Timesheet, and resets to the current period on reload.

  3. 03

    Filter

Use “Filters” to narrow by members, groups, customers, projects, tasks and billability. “My time” shows only your own entries. Active filters appear as removable chips.

  4. 04

    Overview

The KPIs sit on top: total, billable, non-billable and the count per grouping. “Group by” (customer, project, task, member, group) and an optional “Then by” build a two-level breakdown. Display it as a table, donut or bars; “Trend” shows tracking over time.

  5. 05

    Detailed

Here you see every single entry as a row: date, time, description, customer, project, task, member, billability and duration. Click a column header to sort the list.

  6. 06

    Utilization

Utilization sets tracked hours against capacity — per member or group. The percentages are coloured by threshold, so over- and under-utilization stand out at a glance.

  7. 07

    Timesheet

The timesheet shows one person, one week as a project grid (Mon–Sun) with daily totals. You pick the employee and week in the tab itself — Timesheet does not use the shared period/filters.

  8. 08

    Export

Use “Export” to download the active tab as CSV, Excel or PDF — with exactly the period, filters, grouping and sort you currently see.

  9. 09

More tabs: Working time & Changelog

The “Working time” tab (first start, last end, work and breaks per member and day) and the “Changelog” have their own guides — see the “Working time & records” category.

Overview: grouping & “Then by”

In the Overview you pick “Group by” (e.g. project) and optionally “Then by” (e.g. member). That gives a two-level breakdown: total hours per project, expandable down to each member. Handy to see who worked how much on which project.

Donut

Instead of the table, “Donut” shows the distribution as a ring — at a glance which group holds the biggest share. Hover a segment to see its hours and percentage.

Bars

The same values as a bar chart — good for directly comparing the sizes of the groups.

See the entries behind a row

In the table view, clicking a row opens a detail panel on the right with exactly the time entries behind that total (date, time, description, etc.). So you go from the summary straight to the individual entries without changing any filters.

Detailed: every entry

The “Detailed” tab lists every single entry as a row (date, time, description, customer, project, task, member, duration). Ideal for review, export or as evidence — sortable by clicking a column header.

Utilization

“Utilization” sets tracked hours against capacity — per member or group, as a percentage coloured by threshold. Over- and under-utilization stand out at a glance.

Timesheet

“Timesheet” shows one person, one week as a project grid (Mon–Sun) with daily totals — the classic weekly record per employee, independent of the shared period/filters.

Working time

The Working time tab shows, per member and day, the first start, last end, work time and breaks — the record for working-time rules, exportable as CSV, Excel or PDF. See the dedicated guide “Working-time report & export”.

Changelog

The Changelog lists every change and deletion of time entries in the period — who, when, what (old → new). See the guide “Change history & period lock”.

Why do (don’t) I see other members’ time in Reports?

That is controlled by the workspace “Member time-entry visibility” setting (Own/Team/All). Owners and admins always see everyone. Reports is exactly where it takes effect — the personal Time Tracker stays scoped to you. See “Time-entry visibility & roles”.

Does my period stay when I switch tabs?

Yes. The period and filters apply together to Overview, Detailed and Utilization; the Timesheet has its own controls. A reload starts again at the current period.
