Working-time report & export

The working-time report shows, per member and day: first start, last end, work time and breaks — and exports it all as CSV, Excel or PDF. That is the record working-time rules ask for.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open the report

Reports → “Working time” tab. Pick the period (week or month) at the top as in the other reports; filtering is by members and groups — there is deliberately no project filter here.

  2. 02

    Read the rows

Each row is one member-day: first start, last end, total work, breaks. With break capture off, time between entries counts as break time; with capture on, the report shows recorded breaks and unrecorded gaps (“untracked”) separately. The KPI strip on top sums the period.

  3. 03

    Mind the warnings

If a member’s entries overlap on a day, the report flags the row — the break derivation is then unreliable. The cleanest fix is the workspace setting “Prevent overlapping entries”.

  4. 04

    Export

The Export control at the top right downloads the report for the selected period as CSV, Excel or PDF — per member and day, ready for an inspection or your files.

Why do I only see my own rows?

The report follows the same visibility rules as all reports: without team or all-entries permission you see only yourself.

A member logged 8–17 in one entry — where is the break?

A single continuous entry has no gap, so the report shows 0 breaks. Either capture breaks (recommended) or split the day into morning/afternoon.

Does the report count running timers?

No, completed entries only — a running timer appears after it is stopped.
